Ladies' tailoring
Blouses, suits, lehengas — every piece counted, every week settled.
Silaikar runs a ladies’ tailoring karkhana from one phone: each karigar’s cards, the day’s count, the week’s wages. Nothing to type.
Three screens. That’s it.
-
My workEach worker gets their own card — by picture, no reading needed. One tap when it’s done.
-
My countScan the tag and the count goes up. The week’s total is always in view.
-
The week’s wagesThe week adds itself up. Confirm it and each slip goes out on WhatsApp.
On your floor
- A blouse is one card, a lehenga is three — cutting, stitching, finishing — and each card is done with a tap or a scan.
- The shop’s measurements come with the card; no re-reading a WhatsApp photo.
- Piece rate or day rate per karigar, advances taken off, the slip on WhatsApp Friday.
- One phone for the floor: each karigar opens his own card by his picture.

Questions
My karigars can’t read.
They don’t need to: pictures, a tap, and the listen button reads the screen aloud.
Does the money go through the app?
No. You pay as you always have; the app only writes it down.
